In the area...

The Hall is just three miles south of the Cathedral City of Ripon, with its bustling Thursday market, independent shops and tearooms (not to mention its three museums); and within 20 minutes of attractions such as Fountains Abbey, Newby Hall, Norton Conyers and Ripley Castle. A visit to Markenfield can be combined with half a day at any one of these beautiful sites to create a day out with as much history / intelect / shopping / cake as you choose.
